8 Restaurants That Offer Senior Discounts

Dining out is easier when you are a senior. It does not have to break your budget because there are many restaurants offering discounts. Below are a few chains to visit to get every day deals – just bring your senior card.

  1. Applebee’s

There is no national offer for seniors but local Applebee’s run specific deals occasionally. Give your local branch a call to find out what is currently available.

  1. Chili’s

Some Chili’s locations offer discounts to senior citizens, military members, and other uniformed officers. Similar to Applebee’s, there is no company-wide policy in place so contact your local Chili’s to find out if it runs promos.

  1. Cicis

Listen up, pizza lovers! Cicis provide discounts for seniors, as well as military personnel and large groups. However, the discounts vary by location since most branches are individually owned. If you enjoy your local Cicis, ask them about special savings offers available to seniors.

  1. Denny’s

It is always fun to eat at Denny’s, especially when you check out their 55+ menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner specials. These are available to seniors at reduced prices. In fact, some entrees offer at least $2 off. If you are a member of AARP, you can receive 15% on your entire check. Naturally, prices and selections vary by locations.

  1. El Pollo Loco

For customers age 60 and up, El Pollo Loco provides a 10% discount off the entire order. The maximum discount value is $1. Ask the cashier about the promo before checking-out.

  1. Golden Corral

Is there a Golden Corral near you? Ask if they participate and offer senior specials. If they do not, you can still earn savings plus rewards when you sign up for the Good as Gold Club. Check the Seniors box to receive news and promotions that apply to your age group.

  1. IHOP

Similar to Dennys, IHOP has a 55+ menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. These dishes are offered at a lower price compared to the regular menu. Make sure you drop by if you love pancakes and discounts!
